ACIPCO Credit Union: Identity Verification Form
ACIPCO Credit Union: Identity Verification Form email is nothing more than a hidden attempt to steal your identity. Why hidden? Because, the email contains a trojan. I hope your virus checker picked it up.

If you have read my post titled: PayPal@securesuite.net – Security Notice is a Trojan Virus, you will find out more about the nature of the email and how it ties into the concept of identity theft. You can prevent identity theft by obtaining an antivirus program that is able to catch viruses, trojans, malware, and other malicious code. I am using Kaspersky Anti-Virus Products and they do wonders for me. The one I use is the latest anti virus scanner that monitors my computer in the background, without gobbling up the precious system resources. Additionally, it has served me as a great email protection software, helping me with identity theft protection by catching those pesky viruses.
If you are using web based email services, such as Yahoo Mail or MSN Hotmail, you should be somewhat protected from malicious code entering your system. These companies invest big bucks into their email infrastructure by scanning incoming email and helping you keep your system safer. However, there is no guarantee that these, or other, web based services will always catch all the viruses. Since the beginning of the anti virus software revolution no single prevention software was able to catch all viruses and to this day this remains a fact. Therefore, if you are getting bombarded with infected emails, which you may not know about in the first place, choose an anti virus software solution that performs very well.
