Surely this is a surprise! Amongst my Karim Malik Nima email scam and Illegal Online Pharmacy identity theft scares lie a bunch of similar business opportunities.

Granted this email is written fairly well, thus far, you must take into consideration specific dangers that can lead to identity theft:

  1. The use of capitalized words in the middle of the sentence is a psychological tactic which is supposed to initiate a mental note in your brain to focus on that specific word.
  2. Watch out for the use of words that have “legal,” “legitimate,” etc. in them. Be careful taking up endeavors that may cause you and your family financial harm without knowing full legal ramifications.
  3. Is stealing from the dead an ethical practice?
  4. Are you willing to serve time for financial fraud?
  5. Is identity theft on your mind or you just want the money?

So if you want to do the deal let Mr. Richard know. If you have noticed the author of this scheme got a little bit sloppy with his writing towards the end of the email. Big mistakes are made and and they should be enough to tell you that something is very wrong here. A very direct approach to coherce you into siging away your financial well being is most likely the cause for the poor presentation.

A legal side note:

This offer is not legal or legitimate if the con artist wants to put you as the beneficiary of someone that is deceased.

Don’t reply to such emails, nor click on email links, in order to get the piece of the pie. There is no pie and your piece of mind is sometimes much more valuable than any of the sweet nothings offered in the cyberspace.
