National Loyalty CashOut Promo
National Loyalty CashOut Promo ended up in my junk mail. Once again I found another great lottery scam which can lead to identity theft and other fraud. Lets take a closer look. Shall we?
This important service announcement from the National Loyalty CashOut Promo seems to target people living or originally from the United Kingdom.
Hence the “National Loyalty” reference
This looks like a standard email scam would. It has a heading and some text which you shouldn’t believe. Everything looked pretty good until I got to the part where it says:
This is a Re-Notification…
Certainly, if I was notified the first time I would have responded… Okay, maybe not.
Be very aware of this middle portion as it may seem believable to you. However naive you may be don’t provide people so much personal information. This is enough to have someone run your credit report, with the exception of your social security number; which can be obtained by a well-run con artist group. But if one wanted, they could open an account that doesn’t require credit approval. You have given them more than enough if you replied and diligently made sure that steps one through eight are properly filled.
It is good to know that Mr. Wallace is awaiting my email, but very scary to find out that this maybe the beginning of a protracted credit cleaning effort. Notice the Gmail address
claims.nlcop@gmail.com
This is an unprofessional way of saying you are getting scammed. Prevent identity theft by paying attention to the little things. Or, the big things like a lottery that offers you big pounds.
Besides the lottery surprise, this email is somewhat well crafted. Therefore, you should be careful! If you would like to learn more about email scams, and other identity theft issues feel free to browse this Identity Theft Blog. One last thing… I hope you will never reply to such emails to find out if you are the winner. Not even to test its validity or for the sake of an experiment. The people on the other side are often very skilled in talking you into your enormously fake prize.

Hey Guys I live in the US and got this same email. It didn’t even get filtered into spam it went to my inbox. I wonder hoy they pulled that one off. Never Never Never Never fill out or even answer these emails. THEY ARE SCAMS! Please everyone be very careful. Someone tried to scam my boyfriend about a year ago sending him an email telling him there was something wrong with his Ebay account. Click here to log in it said. funny enough he was in his ebay at the time and knew it was a scam. We clicked just to see what they ask and they make it look just like the website and ask for you to log in and give you paypal acct info. Yeah right like I’m just gunna do that without first contacting Ebay and asking from their website if there is really something wrong. And No there wasn’t by the way so be very very careful with these scams.

meaning you pay the delivery charges when it really should be the company that pays the charges
by you paying the delivery charges you could be doing either paying from the funds your supposed to get meaning you end up with nothing or $20 or you pay them whatever the delivery charge is and got get your prize

the email address is created through Google Mail (aka Gmail). Most reputable companies use their own email domain and most individuals use Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, MSN Mail, Hotmail, and etc. I could use an email address like radek@mystressfreelifestyle.com to make it more official, but I chose to use a Hotmail account. Reputable companies don’t rely on Gmail, Hotmail, and Yahoo Mail. Identity thieves tend to create fake accounts at these providers since they are disposable and that’s why you should be aware.
